Greece has been split in half since Saturday due to weather conditions: snow in the north and warm temperatures in the south.
The northern half of the country experiences cold weather with rain, snow and temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, in the southern part of the country, the weather is unseasonably warm, with sunshine and temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Celsius.
In addition, large amounts of dust from the Sahara Desert in northern Africa have been transferred to the Ionian Sea and also to Crete due to strong southerly winds.
