7 people were killed by floods in the Mexican state of Michoacan

As a result of the floods caused by heavy rains, at the Periban municipality of the Mexican state of Michoacan, at least 7 people were killed last Sunday, another 8 are reported missing.

Due to floods that caused damage to homes and cars, the Mexican Ministry of the Interior announced an emergency regime in the municipality of Periban. In this regard, the resources of the Fund for emergency assistance will be intensified. About 600 servicemen were also sent to the affected area to assist the local population.

The search for the missing is ongoing.
