Dr. Marty Makary has blasted the role of the United States government in perpetuating the Covid plandemic hoax, blasting officials including Anthony Fauci for spreading misinformation, restricting freedoms, and damaging public health.
President-elect Donald Trump has tapped Johns Hopkins surgeon Dr. Makary to lead the FDA, and Makary has already made it clear that the pandemic-era public health officials are firmly in his crosshairs.
“The greatest perpetrator of misinformation has been the United States government,” according to Dr. Makary, who is determined to hold Fauci to justice. “Misinformation that Covid was spread through surface transmission; that vaccinated immunity was far greater than natural immunity, that masks were effective.”

“That young people benefit from a booster? Misinformation,” continued Dr. Makary.
“Our two top experts on vaccines quit the FDA in protest over this particular issue. Pushing boosters in young, healthy people. The data was never there. That’s why the CDC never disclosed hospitalization rates among boosted Americans under 50.”
“The vaccine mandates would increase vaccination rates. The George Mason University study shows it didn’t.”
“Over and over again we have seen something that goes far beyond using the best judgment with the information at hand. We have seen something that is unforgivable. That is the weaponization of medical research itself. The CDC putting out their own shoddy studies, like their own study on natural immunity at one state for two months. When they had data for years on all 50 states.
“Why did they only report that one sliver of data, why did they salami slice the giant database? Because it gave them the result they wanted. Same with masking study. Well the data has now caught up in giant systematic reviews.
“The public officials were intellectually dishonest. They lied to the American people.”
Dr. Makary’s views on public health align with those of Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who has been tapped to run the Health and Human Services department.
In a post on his website about his latest book, the Dr. Makary derided “experts” who “demonized natural fat in foods, driving Americans to processed carbohydrates as obesity rates soared.”
In a statement posted to Truth Social on Friday, Trump said the agency needs Makary to evaluate “harmful chemicals poisoning our Nation’s food supply and drugs and biologics being given to our Nation’s youth, so that we can finally address the Chronic Disease Epidemic.”
“FDA has lost the trust of Americans, and has lost sight of its primary goal as a regulator,” Trump wrote. “The agency needs Dr. Marty Makary, a highly respected Johns Hopkins surgical oncologist and health policy expert to course-correct and refocus the agency.”
