Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been attempting to re-write history.
She falsely claimed that the newly-anointed Democratic nominee Kamala Harris “won” an open primary, ….which she did not.
InfoWars reports: Speaking at an event hosted by Semafor on Wednesday, Pelosi, who has all but taken credit for ending Joe Biden’s reelection bid by pushing him off the Democrat presidential ticket, falsely claimed an open primary was held and Kamala Harris won.
Asked if she’d changed her mind to support Kamala after previously favoring an open primary process if Biden stepped down, Pelosi incorrectly claimed an open primary had indeed been held with Harris emerging victorious.

“No, I didn’t change my mind. We had an open primary and [Kamala Harris] won it. Nobody else got in the race,” Pelosi claimed.
She added, “Yes people could have jumped in – there were some people who were sort of preparing, but she just took off with it, and actually it was a blessing because there was not that much time between then and the election and it sort of saved time.”
The fact that Kamala didn’t win the 2024 Democrat presidential primaries has been an issue frequently brought up by former President Donald Trump, most recently mentioned during his debate with Harris earlier this month, where he said, “She got no votes. [Biden] got 14 million votes. You talk about a threat to democracy? [They] threw him out of office.”
