Recently, another interstellar object has been the subject of intense study by scientists. Professor Avi Leb, a theoretical physicist at Harvard University, believes the object, which crashed or landed on Earth off the coast of Papua New Guinea in 1990, may be evidence of extraterrestrial technology. He is leading a team to look for the object, which is believed to be a spacecraft of an extraterrestrial civilization from another solar system.
But could there already be other such objects on Earth? One mysterious object that has attracted the attention of researchers for decades is the Aluminum Wedge from Aiud. This unusual artifact was discovered underground in 1974 in Romania, and in ancient layers, and fossilized bones of a mastodon that lived millions of years ago were found next to it. The wedge itself is made of aluminum alloy and has a distinctly technological shape. If we draw parallels with the modern machines we see around us, it looks like the “tooth” of an excavator bucket or the landing gear of an aircraft.
The aluminum wedge from Ayuda was kept in the museum until 1995. Ufologists believed the find was proof of alien beings coming to Earth in the past. The Romanian ufologist believes that this object is in fact the support of an alien spaceship. Naturally, the official science ridiculed it all to please the “party line” and said that “the object got into the ancient layers by accident, it is modern, somehow, sometime, got there, probably it is modern equipment,” and so on in that vein. And they were talking this nonsense even despite the fact that the analysis of the composition of the artifact showed that it could not have anything to do with modern equipment:
According to research, the exact composition of the artifact is as follows: aluminum (89%), copper (6.2%), silicon (2.84%), zinc (1.81%), lead (0.41%), tin (0.33%), zirconium (0.2%), cadmium (0.11%), nickel (0.0024%), cobalt (0.0023%), bismuth (0.0003%), silver (0.0002%) and gallium (in trace amounts).
It is lucky that the artifact was repeatedly examined, all possible studies of its composition were conducted, and it did not disappear, as it usually happens with “inconvenient artifacts”. The attitude of official science has changed dramatically after the official recognition of the presence of UFOs in the Earth’s sky and near-Earth space, which made the “world’s policeman” in the face of the United States. After this wave, the name UFO was changed to UAP and scientists suddenly “saw the light” and began to take seriously not only UFOs (although previously they hooted at those who said they really existed), but also ancient “irrelevant” artifacts.
The aluminum wedge from Aiud has attracted the attention of researchers looking for potential technosignatures of extraterrestrial origin on Earth. This interest has only grown with the discovery of ‘Oumuamua’ and the possibility that it may be evidence of extraterrestrial technology.
