The Islamization of Great Britain is on full display in Central London’s iconic West End which has been decorated for the first time to mark the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. Countries across the Middle East, from Turkey to Iran celebrated the news in their media.

The Muslim holiday is expected to begin on Wednesday 22 March, although it could come a day later if the moon isn’t sighted, and end on Friday 21 April.

London’s Coventry Street, which connects two of the city’s busiest squares – Piccadilly and Leicester Square has been illuminated with the message “Happy Ramadan” along with lights depicting crescent moons and stars and traditional lanterns known as fanoos which are commonly used to decorate streets across the Middle East for the fasting month.

These seemingly small concessions that Western countries like the UK make are strategic wins in Islam’s more significant battle to conquer non-Muslim countries.

The historic decorations come days after the Royal Mint, the UK’s oldest company and official maker of coins, announced that it had issued a 20 gram, gold-bullion minted bar depicting the Kaaba in Islam’s holiest site in Makkah.

And now let us imagine these cities in 10, 20, 30 years. The Muslim total population in Britain is estimated to be 13 million by 2050. According to Ed Husain, one of the leading Muslim intellectuals in the United Kingdom:

“With almost five million Muslims, there are thousands of new buildings with domes and minarets and in the decades ahead, mosques are predicted to mushroom across the whole land.”

Nothing to worry about. Half of the mosques in the UK are affiliated with the Deobandi movement, adhering to the same Hanafi school of law that created the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Soon, half of Birmingham’s population will also be Muslim. “There were 301,000 Muslims in Birmingham in 2018, making up 27% of the local population,” wrote the Birmingham Mail in 2019. “The number of Muslims has risen by 21% from 249,000 in 2011.” The same newspaper noted that Muslim children in the city now outnumber Christian ones.
