Russia claims U.S. moving bioweapons research facilities out of Ukraine

(Planet Today) For Americans who are confused about why U.S. politicians and the West, in general, are so hell-bent on helping Ukraine beat back Russia’s invasion — and are convinced that it is something more than just to hide Biden family corruption in the country — Russian officials have just provided the explanation.

It seems as though Ukraine is home to bioweapons research facilities, which Moscow says are now being relocated to other countries in Asia and eastern Europe, Russia Today reported, quoting state officials:

Washington has been moving its bioweapons research out of Ukraine, the head of Russia’s Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense Troops has claimed. This comes after the research laboratories’ existence was exposed under the Trump presidency.

“The Pentagon is actively working to transfer its unfinished research projects to the countries in Central Asia and Eastern Europe,” Igor Kirillov claimed during a briefing over the Christmas weekend.

In addition, he says, the Biden regime has been increasing its cooperation with Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Kenya, and other countries in Africa as well as the Indo-Pacific, with “the US Department of Defense being most interested in countries that already possess laboratories with a high level of bio?ontainment,” he added.

According to Kirillov, information about illegal American-backed labs in Ukraine was given to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons conference, which met in Geneva between Nov. 28 and Dec. 16.

The information included “documentary evidence that work with components of biological weapons and studies of pathogens of especially dangerous and economically significant infections had been carried out on the territory of Ukraine with financial, scientific, technical and personnel support of the U.S.,” he said.

RT.com noted further:

Papers obtained by Russia during its military operation in Ukraine reveal that “military-biological programs” were run through the Mechnikov Anti-Plague Research Institute in Kyiv, the Institute of Veterinary Medicine in Kharkov and the Lviv-based Research Institute of Epidemiology and Hygiene, Kirillov claimed.

The files also mentioned three Pentagon contractors and seven high-ranking officials of the US Department of Defense, he added.

The full text of a report from the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) regarding the agency’s work in Ukraine, which was reportedly discovered by Russian forces, contained information “confirming the conduct of exercises and training activities with pathogens of especially dangerous infections” inside Ukraine, according to the Russian commander. The Pentagon has supposedly released a copy of the report to the public, but RT.com reported that around 80 percent of the information had been redacted. So really, the Defense Department did not release anything useful.

Kirillov went on to state that the head of the U.S. delegation to the conference would not respond to Russian accusations that Washington was in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention.

“Such a stance by the US and its blocking of any initiatives to resume work on the verification mechanism of the CWC once again confirms that Washington has something to hide, and that ensuring transparency in terms of compliance with the convention doesn’t play into the hands of the Americans,” said the Russian commander.

But, he assured, the report from Russia was not unnoticed by other countries and, in fact, “made many member states reflect on the risks posed by cooperation with Washington in the military-biological area,” he added.

Vladimir Putin’s government has gradually begun to release materials detailing work at U.S.-supported biolabs in Ukraine. The effort began in March, shortly after Russia invaded. The Biden regime has denied Moscow’s claims that the U.S. has funded bioweapons research in Ukraine, but if true — and there is no reason yet to doubt it — Congress’ rush to continue funding Ukraine’s defense even as our own military suffers and as our own borders are being violated now makes much more sense.
