US Congressman Tim Burchett recently spoke out about UFOs, now known as UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena), and urged people to be wary.
The Mirror published a statement by US Congressman Tim Burchett, who considers a civilian airliner collision with a UFO inevitable.
He claimed the search for the truth is being hampered by a lack of transparency ‘which isn’t just unfair to the public but it could put the safety of our pilots in jeopardy’.
He said: “Plenty of military pilots have reported UAP encounters that have no logical explanation.
“Some of them have warned it was only a matter of time before an aircraft got into a mid-air collision with an unexplained object.
“Yet despite these warnings and reports the first standardised reporting structure wasn’t established until 2019. Our Government has been surprisingly quiet about the topic for many decades despite the many reports.”
According to the politician, such cases probably took place with the military, and it is only a matter of time before such a clash occurs again. Perhaps it already was, but the information was classified, and this is wrong.
Burchett urged the US authorities to make public all information about the encounters with UFOs, as well as to summon the pilots involved in them to Congress to testify under oath.
He noted that practically no one knows about the results of the work of special departments in NASA and the Pentagon, which are officially engaged in the study of the topic of UFOs. This means that either they are doing their job poorly and they have nothing to show, or they are hiding information, and this is criminal negligence.
