America’s powerful gun lobby, the NRA on Thursday welcomed a landmark ruling from the nation’s top court that people have a fundamental right to carry firearms in public.
“NRA wins SCOTUS case!” the National Rifle Association tweeted, using the acronym for the US Supreme Court after the justices struck down a New York state law restricting who can carry a gun.
