“The HighWire” host Del Bigtree thinks the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) move to extend the public health emergency is intended to keep people under control by medical tyrants.
Investigative journalist and “The HighWire” co-host Jefferey Jaxen quoted an April 12 letter by HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra that affirmed the continued public health emergency due to Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). He added that Becerra’s letter of renewal effectively extended the ongoing emergency by 90 days.
“Let’s look at his letter really quick. ‘The renewal of a determination’ – so they made a determination that a public health emergency exists. Why does it exist? ‘As a result of the continued consequence of the [COVID-19] pandemic,” said Jaxen. “They’re not saying hospitals are overflowing, cases are spiking [and] people can’t get treatment. They’re saying ‘the consequences.'”
And Jaxen knows the reason why.
“They’re benefiting from this. People without insurance can get free vaccines [and] COVID tests. Hospitals are receiving, under the public health emergency, another 20 percent increase in Medicare payment rates [for] treatment of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. There’s an incentive to keep this going.”
Bigtree commented: “If they pull the emergency, they now have to pay for those things. You know, all of these things that are killing people in hospitals, [they] definitely got to keep that going.”
Jaxen also pointed out that the extension of the public health emergency would also extend the validity of the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) issued to the different COVID-19 vaccines.
“The biggest one here for our audience is the EUA. It is under this public health emergency that these EUAs can exist. Right now, there are a handful of vaccines under EUA still. We have the two-dose series [for] just Pfizer alone: The two-dose series for [those aged] 12 and older, the [first] booster, the second booster for [those aged 15] and older and immunocompromised [individuals]. That’s just Pfizer, Moderna has their own.”
“If they removed the emergency, [there’s] no need for [an] EUA. But again, it should be alarming that we’re not moving out of the emergency – even when they tell us the emergency is over. It’s like they don’t want to let go of this grip [on power],” Bigtree said in agreement.
Jaxen and Bigtree criticize the WHO’s medical tyranny
“People are obsessed with pandemics. These people [are] like ‘We know another pandemic is coming this fall, [so] I’d be ready for the next one,” said Bigtree. Jaxen interjected, citing World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as an example of someone obsessed with pandemic.
Jaxen also cited a report by Off-Guardian about the global health body planning a new pandemic treaty for 2024. It mentioned that the WHO plans to present a progress report on the so-called “international treaty on pandemic prevention and preparedness” to the 76th World Health Assembly in 2023. Following this, the WHO seeks to have the treaty ready for legal implementation by 2024.
The investigative journalist elaborated: “They’re planning on signing this treaty in 2024. This WHO pandemic treaty is really important because it’s a one-stop shop, it’s just like a lock and key. State sovereignty is over, country sovereignty is over. Top-down bio-surveillance, vaccine passports, turnkey everything for your country, essentially.”
“Let’s do something here. I want to put two thoughts together, folks. Ask [yourselves]: Is there really an agenda going on? The WHO obviously is not an American organization. It really wants to be the World Health Order, [and] that is what it is turning into,” Bigtree said.
“It wants to dictate. It wants to supersede your president, your senators [and] your congresspeople. It wants to be the governing authority if there just happens to be another pandemic 365 days after the last one – which should be 100 times faster than any natural form of a pandemic before.”
