Bad weather wreaked havoc on the outskirts of Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan on Saturday, Oct. 30, as torrential rains flooded cars on highways.
Heavy rains and hail fell in the region on Saturday, breaking a period of drought. Officials said several areas in the region suffered damage and asked residents to stay off flood-prone roads.
This footage, taken on the highway between Erbil and Shaklava, shows traffic stopped due to flash flooding.
