The US Geological Survey has published another report on the activity of the Yellowstone supervolcano. This region is considered to be the most seismically active.

It was here that three eruptions have already happened, which have become the cause of real catastrophes. It happened about 2.1 million, 1.3 million, and 640,000 years ago.

As a result of the eruptions, a huge area was covered with a thick layer of volcanic ash. If something like this happens again, then the entire planet will suffer, because the world production of food will be disrupted, as well as the current climate model.

Many believe that the volcano erupts every 600-700 thousand years, but experts are convinced that there is no reason for panic and that a catastrophe will not happen soon.

Of course, the latest report makes you nervous, because the number of earthquakes recorded in July has become a record in recent years. The magnitude of the strongest push was 3.6 points. Its epicenter was near Yellowstone Lake.

Despite so many earthquakes, it is too early to get nervous. Scientists are confident that even such seismic activity is not a sign that a supervolcano will erupt soon.
