A heavy snowfall in the scenic Kaghan Valley on Sunday made the weather extremely cold. The snowfall began at noon and continued intermittently throughout the day.
“While people in other parts of the country are suffering from scorching heat, here in this paradise valley it is extremely cold,” Mohammad Sami, a tourist from Islamabad, told reporters in Naran.
Since tourist activities are scheduled to resume from Monday (today), nature lovers from all over the country will rush here to enjoy the cold weather, Mr. Sami said.
However, he asked tourists to follow the rules set in connection with Covid-19 so that the government won’t be forced to impose restrictions on their movement.
