42 cows killed by lightning in China

A farmer in southern China lost 42 cows when lightning struck him and his herd of cattle. After the incident, the animals were found motionless and bleeding.

Authorities in the city of Sanjia, located in Dongfang in China’s Hainan province, reported that the lightning struck victim lost consciousness, but his condition was not life-threatening.

The farmer, had started to corral his cows into the barn during the violent storm, But more than 40 animals were still outside when the lightning struck, and most of them died.
