Flooding in Luanda, Angola: 4 people killed, 3 people missing

Severe floods caused by heavy rains have affected areas of the province of Luanda, Angola.

The National Civil Protection and Fire Service reported that at least 4 people were killed and 3 people were missing.

Flood waters swept through the central parts of the city, causing massive traffic disruptions. 554 homes were damaged in areas surrounding the city, including Viana, Kakuako, Talatona and Belas. Authorities said 1,770 residents were affected.
