Something exploded again on the far side of the sun

On March 20, 2020, something exploded on the far side of the sun. The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (Soho) saw debris flying above the eastern tip of the sun. Now, on April 12 and 14, 2020, something exploded again on the far side of the Sun.

The explosion threw a coronal mass ejection (CME) into space on April 12. Two days later, on April 14, 2020, there was also a major solar explosion. Coronographic images from NASA’s solar probes confirm that CME emission appeared from the site of the explosion.

Two mysterious explosions in one month on the far side of the sun – this is very strange. But what caused the explosions?

The fact is that the Sun is at a minimum of activity and the cause of these large explosions is not yet entirely clear.
