Astronauts took SpaceX Starlink images from the ISS

For the first time, SpaceX Starlink satellites were photographed by astronauts aboard the International Space Station.

The ISS flew over the southern Indian Ocean when the satellites hit the station’s camera field.

At that time, a small stream of solar wind shook the Earth’s magnetic field, sparking auroras over the frozen continent – Antarctica. A chain of Starlink satellites flies high above the northern lights.

Dutch satellite specialist Marco Langbrook identified Starlink satellites and tagged them on the original image of NASA.

Starlink is SpaceX’s new venture, which seeks to surround the Earth with satellites and transfer affordable Internet to remote locations around the world.
