April 29, a large asteroid flies near the Earth

A large asteroid 1998 OR2 will fly past Earth next week. According to astronomers at the Arecibo Observatory, the asteroid will race at a distance of 6.3 million kilometers from our planet.

This cosmic stone is large enough so that its impact could threaten the existence of human civilization.

Asteroid 1998 OR2 has a diameter of 1.5 to 4.4 kilometers in diameter and will pass approximately 16 lunar distances from Earth.
