61% of Americans want complete disclosure of UFOs

A recent poll has shown what Americans actually think about UFOs, Area 51 and cover-ups by government, reports piplsay.com.

We reported last month that the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom (RAF) will make its UFO files public-news that has been met with much curiosity on both sides of the pond since.
Now a new survey conducted by Pipilsay’s market research site has revealed what Americans actually think about the topic of UFOs and the possibility that the government knows more than it allows.

Fifty percent of respondents were excited about the UK’s X-Files being released, while 34 percent felt it would “create unnecessary madness.” About 61 per cent of respondents said they wanted the United States government to take similar steps to declassify information about UFOs.

58 percent of respondents believed the government was investigating alien life secretly and 39 percent believed that Area 51 in Nevada was heavily involved in this research.

Regarding UFOs in general, 27 percent of respondents said they were’ real’ (presumably meaning they believed they were alien in origin), 25 percent said the phenomenon could be explained by conventional means, and 9 percent thought the whole thing was one big hoax.

77 per cent said they even saw a UFO with their own eyes. A similar survey conducted in the United Kingdom showed that 60% were enthusiastic about the release of UFO reports, but only 23% claimed that UFOs were alien in origin.

Despite this, slightly more – 78 percent – claimed to have seen a UFO in person.
