US Planned To Explode A Nuclear Bomb On The Moon

It is well known that the United States was interested in testing nuclear weapons on the moon. But did they really do it? So one senior military official believes.

First was the A119 project, also known as lunar research flight research, which was a top-secret plan developed in 1958 by the US Air Force. The aim of the project was to detonate a nuclear bomb on the moon, which would help answer some puzzles in planetary astronomy and astrogeology.

If the explosive device exploded on the surface, and not in the lunar crater, the explosion of the explosion would be visible to people on Earth with the naked eye. It would be a demonstration of the power of the United States.

This project was never implemented, and its cancellation was mainly due to fear of a negative public reaction, as well as the potential militarization of space, which it could also mean, and the fact that the landing on the moon would undoubtedly be a more popular achievement in the eyes of the American and the international community.

But then in 2009, NASA revealed that they had crashed a rocket and satellite onto the surface of the moon. The goal of the NASA mission was to scan the water in the dust raised by the crash.

But was it just a rocket and a satellite, or were they really trying to detonate a nuclear device on the moon?
