Some of the most fascinating new UFO incidents to have come to light in past years, the USS Nimitz incident, which happened about 100 miles from San Diego during a training exercise, saw US fighter pilots from the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group encounter an unidentified flying object.
The UFO’s video was later released in 2017 and recently revealed to be genuine
Now one of the pilots who encountered the object that day-Chad Underwood-finally broke his silence about what exactly happened and what he saw during the encounter.
“So, we go out to where our designated training area is,” he told New York magazine.
“We’re not necessarily looking for something, but the Princeton had a specific object that they wanted us to hunt, for lack of a better word. And all of a sudden, I got this blip on my radar.”
“The thing that stood out to me the most was how erratic it was behaving. And what I mean by ‘erratic’ is that its changes in altitude, airspeed, and aspect were just unlike things that I’ve ever encountered before flying against other air targets.”
“It was just behaving in ways that aren’t physically normal.”
“Because, aircraft, whether they’re manned or unmanned, still have to obey the laws of physics. They have to have some source of lift, some source of propulsion. The Tic-Tac was not doing that. It was going from like 50,000 feet to, you know, a hundred feet in like seconds, which is not possible.”
Underwood also said the object was definitely not a weather balloon, a cruise missile, a flock of birds, or any other type of conventional aircraft he had ever seen before.
The nature and origin of the object he encountered remains, as things stand, a complete mystery.
