BEWARE: 20 MEDICATIONS THAT CAUSE MEMORY LOSS

These medications can do more harm than good. They can cause memory loss besides all of the other side effects. A lot of people use their prescribed medications without even thinking about the consequences of that use. Prescribed medications lead to more than 100,000 deaths each year, and 1.5 million hospitalizations, according to recent studies.
How can this be? Well, the majority of medications are approved without being adequately tested, just because their patent might run out soon. This leads to many people suffering from serious health problems, just because they believe in their pills.
The side effects of prescribed drugs are many, and they can vary from simple problems to serious ones like memory loss and brain tissue damage.
The drugs that lead to memory loss are separated into the following three groups:
1.Statins
Statins are drugs designed for lowering cholesterol levels, and they have been found by many studies to lead to cognitive problems like memory loss. Even the FDA have started to keep a close monitoring of the prescription of statins.
Statin pills are known to impair a person’s ability to focus and remember things.
2.Sleeping pills
According to many studies, every type of sleeping pill can affect the memory and cognitive performance of the person using them, while some researches have even found them to lead to both long and short term memory loss.
Sleeping pills impair the function of different brain cells and cause a person to have less alertness, judgment and watchfulness.
Some sleeping pills were even found to lead to “black outs”, which is usually the result of brain cell damage caused by overconsumption of alcohol.
3.The ”Anti” drugs
By anti-pills we mean every medication that has the prefix “anti” in it, like antispasmodics, anithypertensives, antipsychotics, antidepressants, antibiotics, antihistamines, and so on.
Anti-pills are probably one of the worst pills for your memory, as they impair the function of the neurotransmitter that is vital for your memory and cognition – acetylcholine.
And yet, most of these medications are easily available to many people, despite the fact that they can lead to even more serious problems, if taken regularly.

If you’ve noticed these symptoms, you should immediately go see your doctor for a consultation about the medications you use.
