A Student Found A Golden Stone On The Beach With An Ancient Animal Inside

Aaron Smith, a 23-year-old medical student from the UK, is interested in archeology in her free time. The young man regularly goes on expeditions to his native Yorkshire, in search of ancient fossils.

More recently, Aaron walked along the beach in the town of Whitby and came across something unique – an absolutely round and smooth stone made of material similar to gold.

Later it turned out that the round ball was not made of precious metal, but only of pyrite, which is often mistaken for gold due to its characteristic color and luster. Nevertheless, the find was unique. Having broken the ball, Smith discovered several fossilized ancient animals inside, whose approximate age is 185 million years.
