A New Thermal Zone Has Appeared In Yellowstone National Park

The new thermal region is very deep and it took more than 15 years to study satellite imagery to find signs – heat and carbon dioxide – indicating the formation of a new thermal zone.

According to the Yellowstone Volcanological Observatory, this is a new thermal area that is still developing.

As was discovered in aerial photographs, there is an area where trees and other plants were killed by high temperatures and chemicals coming out of the ground next to Lake Tern.
