Yellowstone geyser eruptions continue to break records

The steamer geyser in Yellowstone National Park is very active and scientists do not know exactly why. 

Geyser accelerated its eruption cycle in June and set a new record for the intervals between eruptions on June 15, when it exploded three days, three hours and 48 minutes after its previous eruption.
