How does the scolopendra hunt the mouse

The giant scolopendra (Scolopendra gigantea) is a large, by our current standards, centipede living in South America. In length, this animal can reach 30−35 cm. It is a predator. Skilful, aggressive and even poisonous. The poison of scolopendra for humans is generally no more dangerous than a bee, but it kills smaller animals without fail.
