MOM DECIDES TO POP SON’S KNEE INFECTION AGAINST DOCTOR’S ORDERS, WHAT SHE FINDS LIVING INSIDE?

Knee infection is not unusual but this boy had it in a very different way. His mom decides to go against doctor`s orders and pop the bubble. She was terrified when she saw what came out.

How is possible a young boy could end up with a snail inside of his knee?

Rachel Franklin was dealing with her son Paul’s infected knee.

Doctors prescribed him antibiotics and told Rachel not to pop it, just to let the swelling go down.

But it was getting worse and worse. His knee was turning black and filling with puss, causing great concern to Rachel.

Against a doctor’s recommendation, she squeezed the wound to drain it, alleviating some of his painful symptoms. Instead she got a disgusting surprise!

Out popped a little gray object, fairly small in size and very similar to a rock. But it wasn’t a rock at all.

Her son’s knee had been infected because there was living a black sea snail inside it!

Rachel told Animal Planet.“I think I might have even just laughed out loud, then I said, ‘Paul, this is a snail! It’s a freaking snail!’”

Apparently the conditions inside of a human’s body mimic conditions where the sea snail thrives. But, we still don’t know is how the snail got in there in the first place.

Paul’s father, Ken believes his son must have fallen on a nest on that rock, forcing an egg into his knee, where it began gestating.
