Flooding in new zealand

Heavy weekend rains caused flash floods in the Wellington region on the New Zealand North Island.

Many roads went under water or were damaged. Driving conditions were extremely dangerous. In about a short period of time, about 120 mm of precipitation broke out, which local meteorologists described as a rather “exceptional event”.
