ESA has published a photo of the legendary crater “Greeley”

The European Space Agency (ESA) has published a photo of the “Greeley” crater. The image was taken using a high-resolution camera from the Mars Express orbital station. View with an inclined perspective was able to create by combining several photos from different angles.

The crater is located in the southern highlands of Mars. It almost became the birthplace of the Opportunity rover, because the unit spent the winter months there for four months a year. Now the rover is a big problem, because it is lost after a storm and can not recover.
