Victims of floods in Mexico were 7 people

From the floods caused by heavy rains, the Mexican states of Tamaulipas, Aguascalientes and Guanajuato suffered. At least seven people died.

So, in the state of Tamaulipas, four people became victims of floods. According to local meteorologists, 245 mm of precipitation fell on the Reinos municipality for 72 hours until June 21, 180 mm of precipitation fell in Matamoros and -170 mm of rain fell in Diaz Ordase.

Two more people died, trapped in a vehicle in flood waters in the city of Aguascalientes of the same state. About 140 mm of rain fell on the city within 48 hours.

According to the state body of civil protection, houses were damaged in the districts of Ocho de Agua and Constitucion.

In the state of Guanajuato, heavy rains caused floods in several areas, including Silao, where about 40 people were evacuated. According to local authorities, one person died as a result of a landslide in the city of Guanajuato.

From the floods from June 14 to June 16, the state of Quintana Roo also suffered. In six municipalities, a state of emergency was declared. In the municipality of Bacalar, 50 people were forced to leave their homes. In the municipality of Felipe Carrillo, within 24 hours, 225.5 mm of precipitation fell.
