The company Jaguar reported a new record for electric boats. Developed by the company’s specialists in conjunction with engineers from Vector and Williams, the boat was able to develop a speed of 142.6 km / h. The previous record, established in 2008, was 123.6 km / h.
The boat, called Jaguar Vector Racing V20E, is designed for one person. About what motor was used in the boat, as well as the characteristics of the battery, the company did not disclose. It is reported that the boat used the technology previously used to create cars for Formula E races.
