In the Red Sea for the first time noticed a blue whale

The Ministry of Ecology of Egypt reported that a blue whale was seen in the Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea). Similar statements were also made in the Israeli media, where eyewitnesses reported that they saw a giant near the coast of Eilat.
The largest of the existing animals in the Red Sea was observed for the first time in the history of observations. The Minister of Ecology of Egypt ordered to monitor the movements of the whale and try to find out what led him to the Red Sea. The length of the “tourist” is 24 meters, it refers to the subspecies of dwarf blue whales (Balaenoptera musculus brevicauda). In the Red Sea, he could get from the Indian Ocean through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.
As experts note, the blue whale is not a predator and does not pose a threat to humans, however, it is highly discouraged to swim to it.
