Flood in Myanmar

As a result of floods and landslides in the north of Myanmar, at least 11 people were killed. About 70 houses were destroyed. Six people were injured.

The landslide was preceded by heavy rains. The tragedy occurred in Khpakant village of Mohniyin district in Kachin state.

In some areas, about 70 mm of precipitation fell within just 24 hours.

Since the beginning of June, as a result of floods and landslides in Myanmar, about 30 people have already died.
