A landslide in southern India killed at least four people

At least four people were killed, eight were missing as a result of a landslide in the state of Kerala in southern India.
As the newspaper notes, the descent of the landslide was the result of heavy rains, which struck Kozhikod district on the eve. According to the newspaper, because of the impact of the elements, five residential buildings were completely destroyed, and the authorities fear that under their wreckage there can still be living people.
To date, the police have data on the four dead, the operation to find and rescue the missing is ongoing. Meanwhile, it became known that at least two landslides had descended in two other districts of Kerala – Vayanade and Kannura. Information about the victims from these areas has not yet been received.
