In Japan, the Simmoe volcano exploded in the mountain range of Kirishima, located on the border of Miyazaki and Kagoshima prefectures on the island of Kyushu. The giant threw a column of ash at a height of 4.5 km.
The eruption occurred on Monday around 02:44 local time. Mount Simmoe erupted for the third time this year, the previous powerful release was recorded on April 6.
Local authorities urged residents and tourists to stay away from the volcano and the surrounding area because of the threat of repeated eruptions.
The Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) issued a warning on Tuesday about the threat of the 3rd level around the mountain.
Residents were also warned about the threat of a rockfall within a radius of about 3 km from the top of the volcano.
