In the Zaporozhye region, due to a sharp change in the direction of the wind and the ensuing storm, a significant fluctuation of the water level in the Azov Sea began, as a result of which more than half of the recreation bases located in the resort village of Kirillovka were flooded.
The water level in places reached 1 meter. Local authorities have allocated two tractors for transporting people from Biryuchiy Island to the spit. Over 100 people were evacuated from the flooding zone.
