May 26, in the north of Greece there was a state of emergency – a lightning bolt hit the passenger bus. The bus performed a flight on the intercity route, heading from the city of Alexandropulis to the city of Orestiás.
When the bus drove past the village of Monastiraki, lightning struck him, and a fire occurred. The driver quickly withdrew 12 passengers and the controller, so no one was hurt. Nevertheless, the bus itself burned to the ground.
