In the Idaho Falls city of the American state of Idaho, during a strong
hail and thunderstorm on Saturday evening dozens of dead geese fell from
the sky.
According to eyewitnesses, about seven o’clock in the evening the birds suddenly fell to the parking lot near the Yellowstone Highway and Lincoln Street. Probably, the animals died as a result of a lightning strike.
The corresponding services arrived at the scene counted more than 50 dead snow geese.
As experts noted, snow geese fly at high altitudes, and they are often not visible from the ground. Probably, the flock was sent to Canada for spring migration.
