Heavy rains caused floods in at least three districts of Somalia.
Heavy rains in many parts of the Jubba and Shabelle river basins, both in Somalia and the Ethiopian Highlands, have caused floods in some parts of the Somali basin, including Gedo, Bakol and Bai.

According to forecasts of meteorologists, a new wave of downpours is expected in the coming days, and the risk of floods will increase.
