“Dusty apocalypse” in Iran left without electricity thousands of people

A powerful dust storm on Monday, April 16, swept through the Iranian remnant Yazd.
Yazd Hadi Hadinasab, the general director of the crisis management department, said that the storm, fortunately, did not leave any losses or damage. Dense cloud sharply reduced visibility and left thousands of residents without electricity.
“Reports from various areas of the remainder show that the storm last night did not cause damage, and there is no need to worry,” he said.
According to local meteorologists, the wind speed during the storm reached places more than 100 km / h.
The inhabitants of Yazd called the natural phenomenon a “dust apocalypse”.
