Russia prepares for spring floods

The season of spring floods in Russia can be considered open. Almost in 20 regions are preparing for the consequences of high water. According to forecasts, over 6 thousand settlements can get into the flood zones.
In the Amur region, residents of the village of Bureya were not even spilled by the river, but by a stream. In the summer it is quiet and small, but with the melting of snow and ice – every year it comes out of the banks and floods entire streets.
Here and now the water is everywhere: in yards, kitchen gardens, garages and outbuildings. From this property suffers, and children can not go to school. People complain that local authorities are in no hurry to solve the problem.
