Astronomers told about magnetic storms in March

Weak magnetic storms will cover the Earth on March 18, 22 and 26, the excited magnetosphere is expected on March 15, 16, 17 and 21, predict astronomers.
The expected magnetic storm on March 18 will be the third since the beginning of the year. Before that, a weak magnetic storm was registered on February 19. The previous event was registered on January 15, follows from the chart of the Laboratory of X-ray Solar Astronomy of the FIAN.
Astronomers note that magnetic storms, classified as a level 1 event on a five-point scale, can lead to weak fluctuations in energy systems, and also have little impact on spacecraft control systems. In this case auroras can be observed at high latitudes from 60 degrees and above.
