In the US state of Michigan found the remains of a recently fallen meteorite

January 16 in Michigan and in neighboring states observed the fall and explosion of a large meteorite.
According to NASA scientists, the meteorite was about 2 meters in size and exploded about 32 kilometers from the earth’s surface. Most of the fragments fell in the town of Hamburg (Michigan, USA).

The first fragments were found by professional hunters Larry Atkins and Robert Ward of Arizona. In total, 6 fragments from this celestial body were found. Their weight is 20-100 g.
