The epicenter of the earthquake was 76 kilometers to the north-east of the locality Loreto, reports Interfax. The hearth lay at a depth of 16 kilometers. The earthquake was reported by Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Director General of the National Civil Defense Service Ricardo de la Cruz.
