In Argentina, forest fires are burning

In the provinces of Mendoza and La Pampa, 300 thousand hectares of forest were destroyed by fire. The causes of the disaster – dry weather, strong wind and high temperature – the thermometer’s column rises above 40 degrees.
With the fire fighting dozens of firefighters – local rescuers help specialists from Buenos Aires and Cordoba. Airplanes and helicopters lifted into the air. According to the authorities, several hotbeds of fire occurred simultaneously in the province of Mendoza at the weekend. The fire spread rapidly around the neighborhood, but did not reach the houses of the local residents.
