Now in the field of view of the LASCO C3 coronagraph of the space
solar observatory SOHO, a bright comet that approaches the Sun is
visible. Probably, this is a near-solar comet of the Kreutz family.
On the video: the brightest object with the long “mustache” on the right is the planet Venus; a much less bright object, which then disappears behind the dark round screen that shields the Sun – this is the planet Saturn; bright “clouds” with dark veins – our Milky Way galaxy.
