Rep. Comer Drops Bombshell: Epstein Files Have Been Deleted by Deep State

Rep. James Comer has dropped a bombshell, revealing that the Jeffrey Epstein files have been deleted by the Deep State to cover up explosive evidence. In an interview with Benny Johnson, the House Oversight Chairman warned that these critical documents, long demanded by the public, may have been destroyed with federal government involvement.

Comer, known for probing federal misconduct and Biden-Harris administration corruption, expressed deep concerns about the Department of Justice’s role. He fears the DOJ either never possessed the Epstein files or intentionally withheld or destroyed them, defying direct orders from the President and Attorney General to release the documents.

Lifezette.com reports: “I don’t think the Department of Justice has [the Epstein files]—or at least the Attorney General does not have them—or she would have turned them over.

The President ordered them released. The Attorney General ordered them released. We all know they have not been released,” Comer said.

The congressman expressed concern that the files could have been intentionally destroyed in the lead-up to the current administration, warning that evidence may have been shredded during the transition period.

“One of my biggest fears… going into the new administration, was this: I hope they’re not shredding documents right now,” Comer said.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), who leads the House Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, has reportedly encountered ongoing resistance in her efforts to secure the release of the Epstein-related materials.

Comer described Luna as “relentless” and “pretty frustrated” by the federal government’s failure to comply with orders.

“Our task force, led by Anna Paulina Luna… has done everything,” Comer said.

“She’s relentless, she’s persistent, and she’s pretty frustrated right now that these files haven’t been released, even though the President and the Attorney General have ordered them released.”

Comer suggested that key officials within federal agencies may be protecting the Epstein files not out of loyalty to high-profile individuals like Bill Clinton or Bill Gates, but to protect institutional interests and possibly intelligence operations.

“If the government was involved—if the government wasn’t involved, I don’t think they would have any reason to protect Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton,” Comer said.

“They’re never going to be elected to anything again. I don’t think they would have any reason to protect Bill Gates or anybody else.”

Comer went further, raising the possibility that the federal government may have used Epstein’s activities for intelligence gathering purposes.

“The concern I’ve always had about the Epstein file is: was the government involved? Did the government know? Was the government using Epstein and the videos to blackmail the most influential people around the world?” Comer asked.

He warned that if government agencies had knowledge of sex crimes involving minors and failed to act, the implications would be severe.

“At the end of the day, I don’t think the American people would be okay if the government knew that crimes against young women were occurring, and yet they did nothing to intervene,” Comer said.

Comer’s comments come amid renewed public interest in the Epstein investigation and continued demands for transparency surrounding the list of individuals who had contact with Epstein or visited his properties.

Despite multiple court cases, criminal prosecutions, and promises of full disclosure, significant portions of evidence remain sealed or unreleased.

As the Oversight Committee and other congressional task forces press forward, questions continue to mount about who may have known what, and whether key information has been permanently destroyed.
